In the year of our Lord 2002, while assigned to Ramstein Air Base, Germany as the Superintendent of Behavioral Health, God gave Pastor Glover a vision to plant Lighthouse in the mental health clinic. A faith-based alternative treatment for members desiring to incorporate spiritual principles into their recovery was born. Individuals were introduced to a Light with transforming powers, which increased testimonies as the Light shined. Before long, we were witnessing alcoholics saved and sober, sexually abused victims free and faithful, the depressed and anxious, full of joy and praise. Due to the growth, we moved into a building and added a Sunday Worship Service. We watched God bring people together from various religious backgrounds and cultures; this is a true picture of Heaven.

 

In 2004, God decided it was time for Pastor and Sister Glover to depart Germany and relocate to Shreveport, LA. For two years he served as associate pastor at Stonewall Baptist Church under Pastor Reed who mentored him for his next journey.

 

In October 2006, he retired from the Air Force and joined his wife, who has been by his side for over 40 years as God promoted her to a new position in Augusta, GA.
